Medical Receptionist

East Texas Ear, Nose, & Throat is searching for a hardworking receptionist to help keep our busy practice running efficiently. Candidate must be reliable, on time, professional in appearance, and detail-oriented. Candidate must be able to multi-task, work independently, and must be a team player. We value goal oriented individuals who have a positive outlook and a desire to learn new duties. The individual must provide excellent internal/external customer service via telephone, fax, and face-to-face contact. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Checking patients in and out
• verifying insurance coverage and benefits
• answering phones
• scheduling appointments
• ensuring patients demographic and insurance information is entered into the EMR accurately
• accepting and posting patient payments
