Work Environment

The position is onsite at our rehabilitation center located in the heart of Chico, California, a vibrant community known for its beautiful parks and recreational opportunities. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Our facility is designed to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients, featuring modern treatment rooms and spaces that foster collaboration and therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of each patient, gathering information on their medical history, functional limitations, and personal goals to ensure a precise understanding of their needs.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based plans of care that address individual patient assessments, coordinating therapeutic approaches that align with their preferences.
• Facilitate educational discussions with patients to demystify their treatment pathway, ensuring they feel empowered to participate actively in their recovery plans.
• Implement various treatment modalities including progressive exercise prescriptions, education, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote ongoing improvement.
• Engage in collaborative case discussions with colleagues to enhance treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Minimum of three years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in developing and implementing individualized exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, including familiarity with electronic health record systems for effective patient documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, in addition to an attractive benefits package that includes:
