Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As part of this role, you will review the Veteran’s medical records uploaded into a secure computer portal, conduct a Maryland CNC test and pure‑tone audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, generating the medical documentation needed for the VA to determine the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits. This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider. Key Responsibilities Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans. Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms. Compensate with a 3–6 Veteran caseload per day on average. Utilize the computer and all necessary tools for documentation. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans. Position Details Schedule: Part‑time, 1–2 days per week. Location: In‑person role in Redmond, OR (97756). Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation. Caseload: 3–6 Veterans per day on average. Note: The role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation. Requirements Has an Au.D. and has graduated from an ASHA Accredited School. Holds a current license as an Audiologist.
