Coordinator, Clinical Services

Job Overview City/State: White Plains, New York Department: Inpatient Rehabilitation Services- Scheduling Work Shift: MON-FRI 7:30AM-3:30PM (35 hours/week) Hourly Rate: $24.72-$27.47 Sign‑On Bonus: n/a Responsibilities Perform all division clerical functions including answering telephones, copying, filing, faxing, and data entry. Coordinate durable medical equipment ordering and distribution. Contact third‑party payers for insurance authorization when needed. Complete and process department work orders and follow up on needed repairs. Maintain UKG and reconcile vacation and other time‑off requests and clarify time‑off policies for division staff. Process payroll. Process inventory orders and capital budget requests in INFOR/STRATA. Coordinate and organize arrangements for division co‑sponsored educational workshops. Cover responsibilities for other division coordinators when absent. Contact patients and/or caregivers to coordinate DME. Perform other duties as directed by the VP/AVP of Inpatient Rehabilitation or another designated person. Requirements High School diploma. Good working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for Windows. Prior experience in a health‑related setting desirable, with familiarity with medical terminology. Good writing and computer skills. Experience with processing DME preferred. Working knowledge of basic medical diagnoses, ICD‑10 coding, medical terminology. Ability to prioritize effectively and possess a high level of organizational ability. Ability to multi‑task and adapt priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of situations in a calm and tactful manner. Ability to work independently.
