Schedule: 13-week assignment; 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; Float within facility as needed

Highlights:

• 16-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with adult to geriatric patient population averaging full daily census
• Comprehensive case mix including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Epic EMR system required; unit utilizes Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
• Charge nurse experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year experience
• Maximum 7 days requested time off (RTO must be finalized at time of submission; blackout dates apply for Spring Break April 4-12)
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and lift teams

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; charge nurse experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, arrhythmia management, and cardiac procedures
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization, post-MI care, and peritoneal dialysis preferred
• Skills in IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols, blood product administration, and central/PICC line management
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation due Tuesday prior to start date; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
