Clinical Therapist – Extended Day Program Three Openings Pay $60,000 annually Temp-to-hire Location Schedule Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary Revere Staffing is looking for three Clinical Therapists for a well-established behavioral health organization in Hamden, CT. The Clinical Therapist will provide counseling, case management, clinical assessments, and treatment-planning services for children and families enrolled in an extended day treatment program. This position works closely with a multidisciplinary team, schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and family support systems. The role is temp-to-hire and pays $60,000 annually. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling. Facilitate therapeutic groups addressing behavioral, emotional, and social development. Complete clinical assessments and develop treatment recommendations. Participate in treatment-planning meetings and case reviews. Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, service plans, and clinical documentation. Use trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches when supporting children and families. Coordinate services with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and other support systems. Develop therapeutic activities that support growth and skill development. Assist with crisis intervention, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination. Provide clinical guidance to program staff regarding behavioral interventions and other concerns. Follow mandated-reporting requirements and promote a safe treatment environment. Participate in required training, quality-improvement initiatives, and outcome tracking. Maintain compliance with organizational and licensing standards. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical or social-service setting is preferred. Experience providing individual, family, or group therapy is highly desirable. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child development, behavioral health diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions. Strong assessment, treatment-planning, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Connecticut clinical licensure or eligibility for licensure is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
