Dr. Idriss Skincare Brand | New York City
We’re looking for a hands-on content creator who understands women ages 35–55: their skin concerns, motivations, routines, and life moments, and can turn that understanding into compelling product content that drives interest and purchase.
This person will bring ideas, pick up the camera, and take content from concept through editing and publication across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
What You Will Do
- Proactively develop and execute content ideas grounded in consumer needs, audience questions, and relevant cultural conversations.
- Film and edit product demonstrations, textures, application techniques, routines, and results, using hands, faces, and real-life settings.
- Translate clinical benefits into clear, engaging reasons to try a product, with strong hooks, captions, and visual storytelling.
- Create platform-specific videos, carousels, and posts; adapt formats such as reactions, remixes, and trends when relevant.
- Create native paid assets.
- Own the content calendar, asset organization, approvals, scheduling, and publishing.
- Use audience feedback and content performance to improve creative execution.
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio showing strong filming, editing, and product storytelling in beauty or skincare.
- An understanding of the needs and purchase motivations of women ages 35–55, including changing skin, busy routines, and life transitions.
- Strong creative and editorial judgment, with the ability to make technical information accessible and relevant.
- Resourcefulness and independent execution: identifies opportunities, solves problems, and delivers finished work without step-by-step direction.
- Proficiency in tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro and Canva or equivalent.
- An esthetician background or deep skincare experience is a plus.
