What You'll Do

• Lead and develop two team leads and a department of approximately 10 accounting and billing professionals.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities.
• Review financial statements, prepare audit schedules, and support annual audits.
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, banking relationships, and financial planning.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, collections, insurance audits, and annual 1099 reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as a key business partner to the VP of Finance and leadership team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Previous supervisory or management experience with a collaborative leadership style.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Transportation, logistics, or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with AS/400 or QuickBooks is preferred.
