RN CVICU-Peds

High acuity and fast-paced standalone unit. Focus on congenital heart disease and defects. Involves care for patients with surgical congenital heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and VAD/Berlin. Age range of patients is neonatal through young adult. Occasional care for adult congenital heart disease patients. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU.

Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required. License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIH Certification.
