You'll be part of a dedicated team, providing care in a unit that monitors patients with various medical needs, including post-operative care and telemetry monitoring.

• Administer and manage drips such as heparin, insulin, diuretic infusions, amiodarone, diltiazem, and 3% saline infusion
• Monitor and interpret EKG/ECG readings, including rhythm strips and dysrhythmia reads
• Float across med-surg units, including post-op, as needed
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
• Work every other weekend as part of the team schedule

Requirements:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Previous travel assignment completed within the last 12 months
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA or ARC
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to float across med-surg and post-op units
