Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students growth and development as a physical therapist in a dynamic educational environment. This contract role offers a chance to make a valuable impact while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule working approximately 2.5 days a week.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Wisconsin PT License
- Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess student needs and design effective treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to optimize student outcomes
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment strategies, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate families and staff on strategies to support student mobility and functional independence
