Field Supervisor

Field SupervisorsField Supervisors are our first-line leaders upholding TES's commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and service excellence. While overseeing daily field operations, our supervisors organize, direct, and support our employees, ensuring that each job and client meets jurisdictional standards and exceeds expectations. This role provides leadership to the field staff, coordinates job site activities, and serves as the primary point of contact between crews, clients, and management.Position Duties:Supervise and coordinate traffic control crews across multiple job sitesInspects and directs on-site crews ensuring all work zones are up and maintained in compliance with MUTCD standards and local/state regulationsConduct site inspections to verify proper placement of signage, cones, barriers, and other traffic control devicesLead daily briefings and enforce company safety policies and proceduresTrain, coach, and evaluate field employeesMonitor project progress and adjust staffing or equipment to meet deadlinesServe as a liaison between clients, project managers, and field staffRespond to and resolve on-site issues, incidents, or customer concernsComplete required documentation such as daily reports, incident reports, and timesheetsEnsure proper use, care, and inventory of company equipment and vehiclesQualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentValid driver's licenseCurrent Flagger certificationCurrent SHA MOT certificationThorough knowledge of the MUTCD2-5 years of experience in traffic control, road construction, or related fieldPrevious experience in a supervisory role in traffic control, preferredCurrent Traffic Control Supervise (TCS) certification, preferredPhysical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and carry 35+ poundsFrequent bending, lifting, and manual handling of traffic control equipmentTraffic Engineering Services- a Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC company is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
