This individual may also perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. The Team Lead will assist with maintaining film file records. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required. Minimum 2 years technical experience required.**License / Certification**: Active ARRT registry required, BLS required**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**: • Must be aware of hospital and departmental needs at all times. • Must possess decision-making and delegating skills. • Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated. • Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency. • Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization. • Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients. • Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • The ability to communicate effectively with patients, guest, and hospital personnel. • The ability to show compassion and sensitivity for patient comfort. • The ability to maintain confidentiality. • Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.**Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:**Position requires sitting for 10% of the workday, standing 40% and mobility 50% of the workday. There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels. Much exposure to computer work. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock. Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks. Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation. Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers and beds.
