ESM has Direct Support positions available in the Augusta and Skowhegan/Cornville areas with ALL shifts available including Full & Part-Time, Days, Awake Overnights, Block Shifts, AND there is a Sign-On Bonus, so come see us for more details! Annual increases based on performance and tenure.

As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT)/Direct Support Professional (DSP) at ESM you will spend most of your time working closely with the people we serve and will be certified through MHRT training, DSP training and CRMA training.

The individuals assisted by ESM have a variety of needs. Many of the individuals we assist need assistance with all daily living skills. For example, completing their banking, shopping, attending doctor’s appointments, helping with household activities, organization skills, completing hygiene, and social / behavioral management.

All ESM services are based on the individual’s needs and/or desire. Each client’s services may vary from another.

ESM’s philosophy is every person has a right to live in their own community, no matter how much assistance they may need. ESM is working with individuals toward independence, which may look different for each individual.

ESM is part of the health care occupation which assists people 24/7/365. As an employee of ESM, it’s important to be flexible. ESM offers a variety of hours from day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts, and block shifts in some locations. Some weekends and holidays are mandatory as ESM operates twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.
