The Content Producer plays an integral role in showcasing the Center’s work to save endangered species, wild places and public lands, with a goal of increasing both the size of our membership base and donations. The role involves creating high‑quality video and graphics for web, social, email, and occasionally print newsletters, reports, invitations and other assets. The Content Producer influences the tone, messaging, and design aesthetic of a broad array of Center material, including paid ads, videos, landing pages, lightboxes, postcards, direct mail collateral and more.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help develop and implement online campaigns to increase donor acquisition, sustainer growth, donor renewals and upgrades. Work with the Lead Content Producer and Senior Online Membership Associate to set creative and strategic direction of online and social acquisition and fundraising campaigns. Produce visually stunning videos and graphics and write powerful copy for digital ads, landing pages, lightboxes and other web properties, as well as postcards, invites and other fundraising letters and donor stewardship pieces. Participate in reporting and analyzing metrics on performance across all channels and platforms, focusing on membership growth, retention, upgrades and sustainer growth. Ensure content is vetted, proofread and approved by Center program and communications staff. Collaborate with the Digital team to identify and work on fundraising opportunities, such as asks in the EEO and action alerts. Help unify the Center’s voice and style across social platforms and other digital channels. Design and work directly with vendors to produce print collateral such as quarterly newsletters, event postcard invitations, annual reports and other related collateral. Assist in the weekly production of landing pages for email appeals and post‑action landing pages. Maintain microsites featuring the Center’s accomplishments and ongoing work. Identify opportunities and pilot experiments using new formats and/or platforms to improve fundraising success. Stay informed of Center activities as well as news and conservation trends affecting our work in the media. Assist with other fundraising and Development duties as assigned. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
3-5 years of experience in digital video and digital / print graphic design. Deep knowledge of design techniques and comfort working on a variety of disciplines, including digital, web, social, email and print. Fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier (or similar design software). Ability to script, storyboard, edit and produce audio and video content. Experience in a fundraising or advocacy environment. Track record of developing creative content that engages diverse communities and deepens relationships with existing supporters. Experience with digital ad platforms. Excellent writing skills. A knack for producing compelling, moving, inspiring stories. Experience with reporting on performance of campaigns, including testing of variations. Ability to deliver work products under deadlines with a commitment to high quality standards. Knowledge of the current digital landscape and emerging trends.WORKING CONDITIONS
This role is carried out primarily in a remote setting with occasional travel to Tucson and potential travel to remote annual all‑staff retreats requiring 4-5 days away each year. Work may include occasional off‑hours for rapid response / news events.LOCATION CONDITIONS
Travel required occasionally. Night or weekend work occasionally. Travel to the Tucson office is required; additional travel opportunities may arise.BENEFITS
