- Run processes in ERP system to review purchasing suggestions, and create purchase orders to send to vendors
- Receive purchased material into ERP system and process paperwork
- Contact suppliers to reconcile issues.
- Assist with scheduled plant inventory- enter counts, run variance reports, and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintains accurate inventory and conducts transfers and quantity adjustments of material
- Plans and schedules workflow for assigned departments to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
- Runs scheduling reports to release and close jobs, reviews data, and updates inventory appropriately
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment within purchasing/inventory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills to maintain all reports and records
