This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatry at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with three shifts per week totaling 36 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on August 10, 2026, and ending on November 9, 2026. The nurse will be working in a 51-bed unit that cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T. The nurse-to-patient ratio may vary based on staffing and unit needs, typically ranging from 3-4:1 to 1:5. The nurse will also need to float between the BMT/Onc and CTU units. The local bill rate is $85 if the candidate lives less than 75 miles from the facility.

Required certifications include AHA BLS and a CO or Compact RN License, along with an oncology nursing certification. Previous experience in acute care BMT/Heme and chemotherapy administration is required. The position is open to first-timers provided they meet the experience requirements. The nurse will not be required to be on-call but may need to float to sister facilities based on facility needs within the metro region.
