Lead Java Developer

GeBBS Consulting is a healthcare technology professional services and consulting firm based in Towson, Maryland servicing clients throughout the US. We are celebrating our 29th year in business. We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). GeBBS Consulting has over two decades of experience supporting healthcare clients throughout the US.
Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to support the development and maintenance of in-house built claims processing platform that is broken into modules from pre-adjudication to vouchering. The hired employee will mainly support the pre-adjudication module, and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance work, enhancements, building of incremental features and functionalities, and troubleshooting claims processing errors that needs coding support.
Location : Hybrid, 1-2 times a month onsite in Merriweather, MD. Candidates in DMV area are strongly preferred.
Duration : 12-month contract with potential to extend
Need to Close:
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins and AWS
- Experience with Oracle and SQL
- Healthcare payer experience
Nice to have:
- Experience with claims operations
- Experience integrating with Salesforce
- Angular development experience
