Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of PCU RN experience License: Active CA RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Must work Christmas or New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Updated supervisory or higher references required at the time of submission. First-time travelers are accepted. Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a progressive care unit. The candidate must have experience working in a PCU setting. The role requires a strong understanding of cardiac monitoring. Floating to other areas, such as medical-surgical and emergency departments for boarding patients, will be required. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse. Weekend shifts are mandatory, with every other weekend required. The position requires knowledge and experience with various medical equipment and procedures. Candidates must have experience in patient management, including cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical skills.
