ZAKAA Couture is seeking a polished, personable, and sales-driven Lead Bridal Consultant & Showroom Coordinator to join our growing New York City showroom.

Our Manhattan showroom serves as a destination for private bridal appointments and as a New York hub for industry appointments, wholesale buyers, press, and special events.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working directly with brides while also taking ownership of the day-to-day presentation and coordination of a luxury bridal showroom. As our New York location continues to grow, this position offers the opportunity to develop into a Showroom Manager role .

Responsibilities

• Conduct private bridal appointments and provide an elevated, personalized client experience.
• Guide brides through gown selection, styling, fit, accessories, and customization options.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide thoughtful follow-up before and after appointments.
• Work toward converting appointments and inquiries into sales.
• Manage incoming showroom inquiries, calls, emails, and appointment requests.
• Coordinate and maintain the showroom appointment calendar.
• Prepare gowns and the showroom before each appointment.
• Maintain an organized, polished, and luxury showroom environment.
• Steam, merchandise, organize, and care for gowns and accessories.
• Maintain accurate client notes, appointment information, and follow-up.
• Open and close the showroom as scheduled.
• Welcome and assist wholesale buyers, press, and other industry guests when appointments are scheduled.
• Prepare the showroom for buyer appointments and collection presentations.
• Assist with New York Bridal Fashion Week, market appointments, trunk shows, photoshoots, and special events.
• Communicate regularly with ZAKAA Couture leadership regarding appointments, sales, client feedback, and showroom needs.
• Coordinate additional styling or showroom assistance when needed.

The ideal candidate is:

• Warm, polished, professional, and confident.
• Experienced in bridal, luxury fashion, high-end retail, or luxury hospitality.
• Passionate about bridal fashion and exceptional client service.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the showroom.
• Sales-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Proactive and comfortable working in a growing showroom environment.
• Comfortable communicating with brides, wholesale buyers, and industry professionals.
• Knowledgeable about bridal fit, silhouettes, fabrics, and garment construction is a plus.
• Available to work weekends. Weekend availability is mandatory.
• Flexible for Bridal Market, photoshoots, events, and special appointments as needed.

About the Role

The New York showroom is a newer location, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable being hands-on and helping us build the client experience from the ground up.

This position is not responsible for opening wholesale accounts or functioning as an outside wholesale sales representative . ZAKAA Couture works with independent sales representatives across different territories.

The Lead Bridal Consultant & Showroom Coordinator will, however, help prepare for and support wholesale buyer appointments taking place at the New York showroom.

Schedule: Flexible weekday schedule based on showroom and appointment needs. Weekend availability is mandatory, including Saturdays and Sundays as required for appointments, events, and showroom coverage.
Compensation: Competitive hourly compensation + retail sales commission
Growth Opportunity: Potential advancement to NYC Showroom Manager as the location grows
