Job Description Sirius Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a chemical manufacturing team in Carlsbad, CA. Schedule: Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (PST) Summary:
This position supports the processing, refurbishment, testing, and packaging of high-purity chemical vessels used in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing applications. Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and process returned chemical containers and vessels.
- Perform manual and automated vessel decontamination and cleaning.
- Conduct acid washing of stainless steel and quartz vessels.
- Fill vessels with ultra-pure chemicals according to manufacturing procedures.
- Safely handle chemicals including acids, acetone, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
- Consolidate and properly dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
- Assemble and rebuild vessels using engineering drawings, work instructions, and hand tools.
- Inspect completed vessels, components, and documentation for quality and accuracy.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate production records using SAP and other manufacturing systems.
- Assist with unloading inbound shipments and receiving materials.
- Support Engineering with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and process issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment while following all PPE and safety requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or industrial production.
- Experience handling hazardous chemicals.
- Experience working with:
- Acids
- Acetone
- Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA
- SAP experience
- Experience using LIMS systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint
- Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS), work instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear a full-face air-purifying respirator and required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer skills.
