Quick Facts Location: Somerset, KY Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Based on assignment Shift: 24-hour hospitalist shift Hours/Week: Approximately 48 hours Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: KY Medical License required Experience: Prior OB/GYN hospitalist experience preferred, no background issues Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay rate: $1.00/hour Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive W-2 medical benefits Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success at VHS What You’ll Do Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage during 24-hour shifts Manage obstetric emergencies, including C-sections Collaborate with OR staff for surgical procedures Monitor and assess laboring patients Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards Document patient care accurately and thoroughly Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients What You Need Valid Kentucky medical license No record issues (clean background) Prior OB/GYN hospitalist experience is preferred Ability to work 24-hour shifts Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position involves hospitalist care in a busy obstetrics and gynecology department.
