Location: New York, NY, 1515 BroadwayWork Arrangement: Onsite full timeHours: 9:30am to 6:30pmFind out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager of Domestic Compensation Finance within the Cable Networks Finance team will manage headcount and compensation planning for Domestic Cable Networks operations.This is a highly visible leadership role and must be able to work collaboratively across the organization engaging with executives from Human Resources (HR), Operating Groups, and Finance.The candidate must be a finance domain expert on compensation expense, providing key leadership in compensation planning, reporting, analysis, and metrics.This is a crucial role in the organization with financial oversight on a major component of Paramount annual operating expenses.This position will report to the Vice President of Cable Networks FP&A.Principal ResponsibilitiesFinancial oversight of headcount and compensation for domestic operations with over 1,000+ staff employees, including review of commissions monthly payoutsLeverage various financial systems to forecast and report compensation expenses and headcount related to monthly/quarterly closes, periodic forecasting, annual budgeting process, and long range planningProvide leadership team with information and insights to better plan and manage labor workforcePartner with HR to align headcount reporting and related expenses to organizational changesMaintain strong working relationship with various stakeholders:HR which includes Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Systems, and GeneralistsFinance track leads by Groups and DepartmentsOperating groupsRepresent the finance team on initiatives that impact headcount and compensation planning, reporting, and analyticsSkills And CapabilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to juggle multiple and frequently changing prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively across various departments and with various levels throughout the organizationStrong executive presence and relationship managementStrategic and highly analytic mindsetSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyStrong analytical abilities and decision-making skillsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced working environment and deal with ambiguityAbility to create strong working relationships and work well both as a team player and individuallyStrong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes, including US GAAP/IFRSAbility to identify process efficiency and effectiveness improvement opportunities and propose suggestions and issue resolutionsAbility to act as a business partner to stakeholdersOwnership and accountability for assigned xhyhwjd tasks and deadlinesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting6-8+ years of financial planning and analysis, reporting, and accounting-related experienceHigh degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong communication skills across various departments and organizational levelsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdditional QualificationsExperience with salary and employee planning preferredExperience with compensation planning principles preferredEmployee-related FP&A experience preferredExperience in Oracle Fusion, Longview, or SAP is a plusExperience in the Media and Entertainment industry is a plusPay Rate$71.44-$76.44/hrRequisition ID: VIAJP00001570
