Rehabilitation Aide - Physical Therapy

Rehabilitation Aide Rehabilitation Aide at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is PT and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Rehab Technician (Tech) supports the mission, vision, values, and objectives of Providence Little Company of Mary. The Rehab Tech functions under the direct supervision of the licensed therapists. Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning treatment areas, transporting and positioning patients, procurement of inventory/supplies, assisting therapists, and supporting the completion of the patient treatment plan. The Rehab Tech may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks to assist the patient care process. All functions are carried out in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Rehab Tech demonstrates professional communication and interpersonal skills, including direct, honest, and compassionate behavior. Required Qualification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an acute hospital setting. Post high‑school vocational/specialized training.
