Quality Sr Engineer II

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Senior Quality Engineer II to lead quality assurance efforts for medical device manufacturing. The role involves problem-solving, process evaluation, regulatory compliance, and supplier management to ensure product performance and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze quality-related data to identify and resolve problems
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment against performance requirements
- Develop quality plans tailored to product and process needs
- Monitor and maintain process performance to established standards
- Apply ISO and QSR requirements to internal and supplier processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience or related position
- 3+ years working with third-party suppliers on nonconformance and improvement
- 3+ years in manufacturing process environments
- Expert blueprint reading, GD&T, QSR/ISO regulations, FMEA, and testing methods
- Proficiency with optical comparators, CMMs, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of statistics, process control, and process capability analysis
