Lead Technical Program Manager, Payments & Jira

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools for program management workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-handling expectations
• Advanced stakeholder management skills, including building productive relationships and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams and clients
• Proven ability to manage resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience managing program schedules, milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and action items with clear ownership and follow-through
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to break business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable work
• Preferred: Experience in the payments industry
• Preferred: PMP certification or PMO experience
• Preferred: Experience in financial services, portfolio governance, or large-scale technology environments
• Preferred: Experience supporting senior leadership forums, business reviews, governance meetings, executive communications, and cross-functional decision-making
• Preferred: Background in technical program management, business management, technology governance, or related execution roles; transferable experience across these disciplines is welcome

• Develop and deliver comprehensive project plans covering technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines
• Use enterprise-authorized AI tools to support program planning and risk synthesis, validate generated content, and handle data according to sensitivity requirements
• Identify and mitigate risks, address potential obstacles, and implement contingency plans to maintain delivery momentum
• Work with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in line with business goals
• Assess program performance, identify improvement opportunities, and apply data-driven optimizations
• Promote agile delivery, continuous improvement, learning, and innovation
• Encourage reuse-first, AI-assisted program governance and reporting, with human review and adherence to delivery standards
