About the Position

Job Title

Surgical Technician – Orthopedic / Neuro-Spine (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 06:00–16:30 | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties within a Main OR setting, supporting a high-volume surgical environment across multiple specialties
• Assist with orthopedic, neuro-spine, vascular, and endovascular surgical procedures
• Operate and support advanced robotic systems including MAKO (joints) and Globus platforms
• Maintain a 1:1 scrub-to-surgeon ratio throughout surgical cases
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including weekend call, as evenly distributed by the OR Coordinator
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements: ceil blue or royal blue scrubs; no fleece, hoods, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or nail polish

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Experience in orthopedic sports medicine and vascular surgery required
• Experience with total joints, MAKO robotic systems for joints, and Globus instrumentation required
• Experience with cranial and endovascular procedures required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro-spine surgical experience
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic system
• Maxillofacial surgical experience
• Experience with Mazor robotics for spine procedures
