SECURITY ANALYST II, IS&T Information Security Job Location: Boston, MA, United States Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Salary Grade: $71,700 - $86,000 You Will Monitor, analyze, and process security events to identify and protect university assets. Help process results from vulnerability scans to help mitigate risk. Assist with maintaining security procedures to ensure they remain current. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks. Take part in an on‑call duty cycle, monitoring tools and providing 24x7 availability to respond to security events when needed. Required Skills Demonstrated interest and 2 or more years of experience in the cyber security field. Familiarity with one or more security tools such as SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection software, firewalls. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, DMCA, and NIST. (Bonus: willingness to learn if these are not met.) Soft Skills Experience using ServiceNow. Certificates: ITIL, one or more relevant GIAC, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications.
