Senior Accountant

Overview The Senior Accountant will support the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting processes, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to the organization. Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, preparation of cost forecasts and budget, financial analysis, and cost audits. Assist in preparing monthly reporting package including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and other reports Review and analyze monthly variances for actual costs of sales, budgets, sales and operations planning forecasts in collaboration with business partners. Perform general cost accounting and compare budgets with actual expenses. Identify opportunities for improving internal accounting processes. Support implementation of new accounting software or system upgrades. Qualifications 7+ of years of related work experience required and with manufacturing environment business experience Strong work ethic focused on meeting deadlines Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving, project management. Oracle or other Enterprise systems experience required.
