The successful candidate will receive training and hands on experience through the following daily activities of the job: delivery driving, order picking, wire cutting, wire management, vendor returns, freight claims, shipping, receiving, helping customers on the front counter, inventory management, purchasing, and a back up for accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and motivated to improve processes while working in multiple departments. This is a full-time, on-site position. Occasional travel to other CED locations will be required during inventory - one to four times a year. REPORTS TO: The Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to learn and navigate multiple software platforms and business systems Valid driver's license ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree - nice to have but not a requirement. We are willing to train. WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout an office, warehouse, and distribution environment Ability to lift and move materials up to 86 pounds Ability to spend time both at a desk and in operational areas of the business You will need to naturally be a high energy person to succeed in this role COMPENSATION: The compensation range for this position is $21.00 to $27.00 hourly OTHER COMPENSATION: The following additional compensation may be applicable for this position: Profit Sharing BENEFITS: Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision Care for full-time positions Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Health Savings Account (HSA) and matching Teledoc Paid Pregnancy & New Parent Leave SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operational Work within counter sales, warehouse, purchasing, delivery, and accounting teams and ensure efficient execution of all assigned business processes. Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Inventory Management & Control Maintain and improve inventory accuracy across the warehouse. Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes. Coordinate inventory reconciliation activities. Assist in managing inventory adjustments and reporting. Purchase inventory and maintain inventory integrity. Customer Billing & Administrative Operations Be a back up for the following: Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. Review customer billing processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
