Head Baker

Lebanese restaurant in New York City seeking a talented and ambitious Head Baker & Pastry Chef to lead our bread and dessert program. This is a unique opportunity for a creative professional who is equally passionate about artisan bread-making, refined desserts, and culinary innovation.
You will play a critical role in shaping the identity of our menu—honoring tradition while pushing boundaries.
Bread Program Leadership
• Oversee daily production of pita bread and all bread-based items
• Refine techniques, fermentation processes, and baking methods to significantly improve quality, consistency, and flavor
• Ensure optimal texture, puff, and authenticity of traditional Lebanese breads at scale
Dessert Program Excellence
• Lead in-house production and elevate our desserts
• Improve presentation, flavor balance, and consistency across the dessert menu
Research & Development (R&D)
• Conceptualize and develop new pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Bring fresh and viable ideas that align with our brand vision
• Test, refine, and implement recipes from ideation to full production
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all new products
Quality Control & Operations
• Own quality assurance across all baked goods and desserts
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on best practices and execution
• Optimize production workflows, ingredient sourcing, and cost efficiency and etc.,
