Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); at least 2 years of nursing experience including telemetry care; proficiency with Epic charting system; experience in community hospital settings preferred; valid Nursys license uploaded within last 2 weeks; certifications must be AHA or ARC; ability to manage ports, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, CVA protocols, and other specialized nursing procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring, high-acuity care, and adult and pediatric patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more. The patient census averages 17 per day, with a daily census including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit handles diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, and post-surgical care. The facility provides specialized equipment and services for complex cases.
