Knowledge Development Engineer Intern

About the Role As a Knowledge Development Engineer Intern, you will get hands‑on experience building and experimenting with AI at a global fintech company — working on real problems alongside real teams. This opportunity is open to friends and family of Remitly employees who are currently enrolled in a full‑time high school or undergraduate program and are ready to show up, contribute, and learn. You will be fully embedded in a Remitly host team, attend a series of AI‑focused training, and work alongside a dedicated in‑team mentor to identify and prototype a real process improvement — with the opportunity to present what you’ve built to the broader cohort and an invited audience on Demo Day. Qualifications Current enrollment in a full‑time high school or undergraduate program Ability to work fully in‑office in Seattle or Arlington 40 hours per week Availability for the entire program duration — July 7 through August 14, 2026 Commute distance to the Seattle or Arlington office — no relocation provided Valid U.S. work authorization — no sponsorship available Compensation This is a hourly internship at $21.30 per hour.
