Bring your expertise in special education to a dynamic, supportive district dedicated to helping every student thrive. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of educational excellence, empowering you to make a profound impact across multiple school sites. You’ll work full time—35 hours per week with a half-hour unpaid lunch—supporting students with diverse learning needs and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting, delivering tailored instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
  • Commitment to onsite, in-person delivery of services across various district locations
  • Willingness to complete required background checks, including a $85 fingerprinting (candidates must agree in advance)
  • Ability to complete a contractor packet (includes TB test, fingerprint receipt, and Child Protective Registry check); approval may take up to 5 business days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive support
  • Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders
  • Deliver engaging, effective instruction and support to students in various classroom settings
  • Maintain detailed documentation and uphold all district, state, and federal compliance requirements

This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 8, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build lasting professional relationships. Imagine the difference you’ll make, championing student growth across a diverse community.
