Purchasing/Materials Manager

Job Title

Compunetics is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare RFQs and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
• Source and develop new suppliers
• Negotiate prices
• Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery
• Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, planning and production
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders
• Maintain departmental work instructions
• Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts
• Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department

Requirements:

• Bachelor Supply Chain Management or Business
• 3-5 years experience purchasing/supply chain management at a manufacturing facility
• Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
• Printed Circuit Board experience a plus
• Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment
• Solid interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills required
• Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
