Job requires setting and working from extension ladders, moving furniture and furnishings, lifting/stacking supplies, lifting disposal containers (60-100 pounds). Responsibilities include: To sweep, mop, wax, dust, vacuum, and other general cleaning tasks in assigned areas. To scrub and disinfect toilet doors daily and clean drinking fountains, urinals, toilet bowls, and other fixtures daily using such materials as will keep them in a clean and sanitary condition. Wash all windows on both the inside and outside at least twice each year. To be on duty in the building when events are scheduled outside of regular school hours, if such is requested by the head custodian and/or principal. To remain on the premises during scheduled work hours. To perform other duties as assigned by the head custodian and/or principal and the Supervisor of Maintenance.
