Florida Kidney Physicians is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Brandon, FL . This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys a fast-paced procedural environment and wants to provide high-quality care in a specialized outpatient setting.

Our ASC focuses on vascular access procedures for patients with kidney disease , providing coordinated, patient-centered care from pre-operative preparation through recovery and discharge.

What You'll Do

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients before, during, and after outpatient surgical procedures.
• Complete pre-operative assessments, medication reconciliation, and patient preparation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist physicians and the surgical team during vascular access procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, sedation, pain, and recovery status as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Provide post-operative education and discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Ensure appropriate infection prevention, medication safety, and patient identification practices are followed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain readiness of patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support a positive patient experience while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume outpatient environment.

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• 2+ years of nursing experience , preferably in an ASC, operating room, PACU, procedural, critical care, emergency, or other acute-care environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Vascular access, nephrology, dialysis, or procedural nursing experience is a plus.
