Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients using the nursing process
- Assess and document patient status, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
- Develop and implement patient care plans; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications and treatments following policy; ensure safe medication practices
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education; provide learning opportunities

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) - Required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor - Required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Required
- Experience: At least two years of recent RN experience in a clinical setting; Med Surg experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
