Job Overview

Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA regulations.
Schedules procedures and appointments
Updates and manages scheduling files and patient data.
Coordinates patient placements and reschedules as needed.
Proficient in cadence scheduling and multi-tasking.
Handles inquiries, updates accounts, and ensures billing accuracy.
Creates guarantors and verifies insurance coverage.
Completes coverage training and verifies insurance eligibility

Education and Experience:

High School Graduate or GED required.

Preferred Certification/License/Experience:

Procedure scheduling experience helpful.

Experience

Previous healthcare scheduling experience is a plus. Clerical experience in healthcare with direct customer related contact experience is required.
