MRI Tech | Milwaukee, WI
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in a dynamic medical setting. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in MRI and will be adept in handling a variety of patient types, including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole-body, and cardiac cases. Experience with GE and Siemens equipment is essential.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center
- Location: Milwaukee, WI
- Shift Details: 3x12 days
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2835 (negotiable)
- Orientation: 3 days
- Weekend rotation: Maximum every 3rd weekend
- On-call duties: Sat and Sun night 2100-0630; back up on-call Sat and Sun 0630-2100
- 30-minute response time required
- Holiday Expectations: Based on unit needs
- Scrub Color: Any color, as long as they are professional
- Parking: Free
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ensure safety protocols are followed for patients with various medical conditions
- Work closely with Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants
- Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC system
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS certification
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
- Experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, and Siemens Magentom Skyra
- Proficiency in EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients
- Experience with neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole-body, and cardiac imaging
