School Speech Therapist | Humble, Texas

This contract-based role offers a dynamic experience for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP or SLP-CCC) eager to make an impact across elementary and middle school populations. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality speech services within a nurturing school culture.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLP license issued by Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows also welcome
• Experience with school-based speech therapy caseloads
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Willingness to supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPAs if holding CCCs
• Reliable and flexible, with a collaborative approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and assessment to students across assigned school sites (typically one; occasionally two)
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster meaningful communication with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Supervise SLPAs or clinical fellows as needed (for SLPs with CCCs)
• Participate in team meetings, provide updates on student progress, and contribute to a positive school culture

Role Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Serve multiple school sites as needed from early August 2026 to early June 2027
• Onsite presence required to foster hands-on collaboration with school staff and students
