Shipping Clerk/CSRWe are seeking a Shipping Clerk/CSR to join our team! This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position with a manufacturing company in the University Park area.1st shift Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:00pm Pay: $19-$20/hr (depending on experience)You will be responsible for assisting with coordinating and scheduling timely shipment of orders to customers utilizing outside trucking and logistics companies per the customers' instructions.QualificationsMaintain excellent attendance in accordance with the employee handbook guidelinesMinimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment or related training or experience (preferred)Proficiency with database, email, internet, spreadsheet and word processing computer skillsTime Management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-taskProficient written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of shipping processes and proceduresAccuracy and attention to detailWork effectively individually and as a member of a teamTypical Duties and ResponsibilitiesSchedule all shipments promptly and according to established guidelines to ensure delivery is made by promised dates or as soon as available, customer permittingType manifests, prepare all shipping paperwork and and review for accuracyInput of routing information into third-party logistics contractor websitesPull bills of lading for finished and closed work ordersPrepare UPSN and FDEG shipping labelsResponsible for reviewing shipped paperwork, Bills of Lading (BOL's), scanning and invoicing for accuracySend ASN and invoices to EDI customers, email invoices to non-EDI customers, print back order paperwork and forward closed and completed paperwork to the office for filingParticipate in performance improvement measures, recommend improvements, participate in training and be accountable for learning the material and informationComplete paperwork and maintain files associated with the position in a timely mannerPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management and support other employees as necessary in a team effortInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume today!
