We are currently looking for a Tire Tech at our Sibley Service Center. Mechanical Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual. Must be able to work independently, be trustworthy, dependable, enjoy working various jobs and able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Install, repair, balance, and rotate tires for passenger and commercial vehicles
• Patch tires, inspect wear patterns, and ensure that tires are correctly inflated and properly replaced on the vehicle
• Perform specialty tire work, such as studding tires for snow
• Help customers find the right tires for their vehicles
• Manage inventory
• Maintain tire repair equipment
• Perform on-the-farm service and occasional roadside service
• Occasionally help customers with other issues they may be having with their vehicle
• Building customer trust and long-lasting relationships through repeat business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Cooperative Energy is seeking a Tire Technician who can inspect, repair, and mount tires safely and accurately.
• Previous tire shop, automotive, or related maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle tires and wheel assemblies in a safe manner.
• Proficiency with standard tire service tools and equipment, including tire changers and balancing machines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure proper installation, torque, and alignment checks as needed.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop protocols at all times.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and assisting with other shop or grounds needs when required.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
