This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us.Job DescriptionOlsson’s Facilities Engineering and Design Team delivers innovative, high‑performance electrical solutions for technically complex projects across industries such as healthcare, education, data centers, commercial developments, and military facilities.As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in both project execution and team leadership. This position is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys mentoring others, working directly with clients, and guiding technical direction across complex building projects.You’ll help elevate design quality, support client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the South Facilities & Design team.What you’ll do:Lead complex projects by overseeing electrical system design and supporting multidisciplinary coordinationSet quality standards by developing and upholding QA/QC processes and electrical design best practicesMentor and develop engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, reviews, and career supportSupport design strategy and planning, partnering with project managers and discipline leaders to deliver effective solutionsWork directly with current and future clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor and participating in client meetings and pursuitsSupport business growth by contributing electrical expertise during early project planning and opportunity developmentContinuously improve workflows, tools, and standards to strengthen team efficiency, consistency, and innovationQualificationsYou are passionate about:Working collaboratively with others.Having ownership in the work you do.Using your talents to positively affect communities.You bring to the team:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering10+ years of experience designing electrical systems for complex building projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseStrong experience with power distribution, lighting, and low‑voltage systems for facilities such as healthcare, laboratories, data centers, and mission‑critical environmentsProficiency in AutoCAD and/or RevitExperience leading technical teams, reviewing work, and setting electrical design standardsClear communication skills and comfort engaging directly with clients#LI-DD1Additional InformationOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
