Texas Licensed Medical Order Specialist

To support a growing healthcare team, the part-time Texas Licensed Medical Order Specialist will review and process changes to existing patient orders, validate prescriptions and insurance coverage, and maintain accurate documentation in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Review and process changes to existing patient orders for accuracy and compliance Validate prescription accuracy and determine the need for updated documentation Verify insurance coverage and manage authorization submissions and follow-ups Required qualifications 2+ years of healthcare administrative, order processing, or insurance experience High school diploma or GED required Home health, DME, or enteral experience preferred Knowledge of insurance authorization processes is a plus Spanish speaking preferred
