Warehouse Associate Based in Irving, Texas M-F 8am-5pm $20.00

Job Summary As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our client's distribution operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of electrical products to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accurate counts and condition of inventory
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store products
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the correct items and quantities are fulfilled
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment
• Collaborate with the broader warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Proficient in the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. The warehouse environment may involve exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, and potential safety hazards. Strict adherence to safety protocols is essential.
