Apply now to be a key player in our team's commitment to providing sustainable infrastructure that benefits the communities we work, live and play in!This position may be based out of our Louisville or Denver office.How You'll Contribute:Manage tasks and teams associated with transportation projects.Perform design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.Prepare specifications and cost estimates.Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision.Assist in assigning duties and schedules to team members.Participate in preparing proposals and project scope, schedule, and budget.Participate in Business Development based on strong client relationships.Provide construction support services.The Strengths You Bring:Bachelors degree in civil engineering (BSCE) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, emphasizing transportation, public infrastructure, multimodal design, drainage, utilities, site development, and civic projects for municipal and private clients.Some project management experience is preferred, or experience managing budgets, schedules, and assigning tasks or collaborating with other team members.Experience with technical writing and reviewing reports.Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes, including AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Some experience with business development and client relationships is preferred.Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.
