This job maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals and documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems group. Maintains knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to travel throughout and between facilities. Job Duties Provides excellent customer service and assists in problem resolution support. Maintains systems and documents use and problems. Provides remote and on-site technical support. Maintains in-depth knowledge of service desk. Supports products and services. Performs other related duties as required. Physical and Environmental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Very Heavy Work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
