Tool and Die Maker

One of our clients is seeking a skilled Tool and Die **Maker **to support manufacturing operations at their facility in Rochelle, IL.Pay rate: $28/hr - $33/hrResponsibilities:Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling, dies, molds, and fixturesPerform die setups, adjustments, and preventive maintenanceRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specificationsOperate tool room equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, and CNC machinesInspect tooling components using precision measuring instrumentsDiagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtimeSupport production teams with tooling-related troubleshooting and repairsModify and improve tooling to enhance efficiency and product qualityQualifications:Journeyman certification in Tool and Die or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in tool and die making within a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of stamping dies, molds, fixtures, and tooling systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience operating manual and CNC machining equipmentExperience with progressive dies and metal stamping operationsBasic CAD/CAM knowledgeWelding and fabrication experienceYou should be proficient in:Journeyman’s License #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
