Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a high-growth startup in Fremont, CA to hire a Staff Accountant on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, expanding organization where your work will have immediate impact. You will work alongside a supportive leadership team and be mentored by a Controller and Senior Accountant who are invested in your growth and development. Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Support month-end and year-end close processes Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and investigate variances Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules Support audit requests and ensure compliance with GAAP Prepare financial reports and assist with ad hoc analysis Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and reporting Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 2+ years of accounting experience required NetSuite experience preferred Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills LHH Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan Holiday pay and service bonus eligibility Life insurance Flexible spending accounts If you're looking to grow your accounting career in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
